As an Associate Medical Writer, you will play a pivotal role in creating publication-ready documents, collaborating with international clients, and making a difference in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality scientific documents, including MSL slide decks, infographics, congress materials, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and HCP engagement content.
- Conduct literature searches and create standard response letters (SRLs) and medical information letters (MILs).
- Collaborate with international pharmaceutical clients, authors, reviewers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) across therapeutic areas.
- Proofread and perform data-checking of scientific documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Attend client meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Educational Background:
- PhD/MD in Pharmacology
- PhD in Life Sciences
- PharmD
- MPharm/M.Sc with a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication
- Experience: 0–1 year in scientific writing or related fields.
- Skills:
- Exceptional scientific writing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and materials.
- Basic knowledge of biostatistics and literature reviewing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Attributes:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
