Piramal Pharma is seeking motivated Apprentices with a background in synthetic organic chemistry to join their team in Ahmedabad. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or diploma holders to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmaceutical research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Perform routine synthetic organic chemistry techniques (reactions, recrystallizations, chromatography) with minimal supervision.
✔ Conduct organic synthesis reactions and maintain detailed lab notebooks.
✔ Interpret NMR, IR, and mass spectra for compound characterization.
✔ Purify compounds using standard techniques.
✔ Demonstrate a basic understanding of chemical reactivity and functional group compatibility.
✔ Conduct literature research to support project goals.
✔ Assist in writing patents and internal reports.
✔ Maintain awareness of industry trends and provide recommendations.
✔ Work efficiently on straightforward analog synthesis.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Technical Diploma or A Level in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of organic synthesis, spectroscopy, and analytical techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
