Position: Trainee Research Associate – Synthesis

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates to support drug discovery efforts.
- Deliver chemical compounds in small to large quantities for research purposes.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to advance chemistry projects.
- Apply thorough knowledge of organic chemistry, including reaction mechanisms and transformations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in key concepts like molarity, normality, and equivalency.
- Utilize hands-on experience with thin-layer chromatography (TLC), column chromatography, and extraction techniques.
- Interpret data using NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry.
- Adhere to lab safety practices and maintain a dynamic, adaptable research mindset.
- Exhibit strong scientific communication and collaborative skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Educational Background: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or an M.Pharm with a specialization in Organic Synthesis.
- Experience Level: 0-1 year of project or related experience.
