Key Responsibilities

As a Formulation Development Associate, you will:

• Develop drug formulations such as transdermal patches, topical gels, and oral dissolving films.
• Document and report research findings, data, and observations.
• Design and execute controlled experiments and formulation trials.
• Analyze key parameters in trial and stability batches.
• Write and maintain laboratory notebooks, protocols, BMR, and BPR.
• Perform calibration, verification, and validation of lab equipment.
• Conduct scale-up, process optimization, and exhibit batch execution.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from a recognized university.
• 0–2 years of experience in formulation & development (freshers eligible).
• Knowledge of Reference Listed Drugs (RLD) and reference standards.
• Basic understanding of patents, IID, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Familiarity with ICH, USFDA, and EU guidelines for transdermal and topical product development.
• Awareness of excipient compatibility studies.
• Understanding of Quality by Design (QbD) and design of experiments (DoE).
