Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is hiring an Executive Biotechnology professional to join our Tandalja R&D team. The candidate will be responsible for developing Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)-based methods to measure kinetic and equilibrium binding constants for protein and peptide-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop and qualify SPR-based analytical methods for biologics characterization.
✔ Perform analytical similarity assessments for in-house biosimilars vs. innovator products.
✔ Characterize innovator biologics from different global sources and prepare Quality Target Profiles (QTPP).
✔ Prepare Method Development Reports (MDR) and Analytical Test Procedures (ATP).
✔ Ensure compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) in the analytical lab.
✔ Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SPR instruments.
✔ Manage chemicals, consumables, and critical reagents inventory.
✔ Perform instrument calibration and resolve equipment issues.
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or related field.
Technical & Functional Skills Required:
✔ Strong expertise in analytical method development & qualification for therapeutic proteins.
✔ Experience in biosimilarity assessment for biologics (preferred for regulated markets).
✔ Hands-on experience with monoclonal antibodies & peptides (highly desirable).
✔ Knowledge of SPR, HPLC, CE, and other biophysical techniques is a plus.
