📌 Job Responsibilities
As a Forecast Junior Associate, you will:
- Collaborate with GIBEx/GA&I Forecast Leaders and Commercial teams.
- Build and maintain patient-based forecasting models for key brands.
- Integrate insights from primary research, market research, and secondary datasets into forecasts.
- Apply forecasting techniques using IQVIA (MIDAS, Xponent), claims data (Truven, Marketscan), TRx, NRx.
- Identify business drivers impacting forecasts and provide actionable insights.
- Develop Excel-based financial models and leverage tools like PowerBI.
- Support cross-functional alignment on strategic forecasting assumptions.
✅ Essential Qualifications
- 1+ years of direct pharmaceutical forecasting experience.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and disease pathways.
- Hands-on expertise with IQVIA, claims, epidemiological, TRx/NBRx/NRx data.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and analytics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
(with at least 1+ year of direct pharmaceutical forecasting experience).
📌 Preferred (Desirable) Degrees
- MBA (Pharma Management / Business Analytics / Healthcare)
- M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Management)
- M.Sc. (Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
- PhD (Life Sciences, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Health Outcomes Research)
Preferred Skills
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD).
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting, AI/ML, automation.
- Familiarity with PowerBI, PowerApps, US market access, gross-to-net.
