Job Responsibilities
The Medical Information Specialist role is vital to ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. Here are the primary responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers with scientifically balanced, evidence-based, and non-promotional information.
- Adverse Event Reporting: Identify and handle adverse events and product complaints, complying with regulatory standards such as FDA post-marketing guidelines.
- Medical Writing: Create custom responses to medical inquiries and document adverse events or product complaint narratives.
- Multichannel Interaction: Manage customer requests across diverse platforms, including phone, email, CRM systems, and chat.
- Quality Coordination: Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams to address product-related complaints effectively.
- Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated on product-specific information, therapeutic areas, and client-specific requirements.

Qualifications
