Key Responsibilities
As a Research Scientist in our Analytical Services team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Compliance with Standards: Adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and maintaining safety norms consistent with company policies.
- Method Development and Validation: Conducting method development and validation for Extractable and Leachable (E&L) methods, ensuring robust analytical performance.
- Sample Preparation: Preparing samples for leachables analysis utilizing advanced techniques such as reflux, Soxhlet extraction, and other methods as necessary for extractable studies.
- Analytical Analysis: Analyzing extractable and leachable samples using state-of-the-art LCMS and GCMS technologies, ensuring precise and accurate results.
- Data Interpretation: Interpreting analytical data generated from LCMS and GCMS, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Materials Analysis: Conducting analysis of various materials including raw materials (APIs and excipients), finished products, and in-process samples using HPLC, LCMS, and GC analytical techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in the Quality Control sector of drug substance or drug product manufacturing, preferably within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Extractable and Leachable testing along with proficiency in LCMS and GCMS techniques.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong technical ability coupled with excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to address challenges effectively.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and convey complex information clearly.
- Adaptability: A readiness to adapt to rapidly evolving scientific and regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
