Job Description: PV Associate (Literature)
As a PV Associate in the Literature team, you will play a crucial role in literature monitoring and pharmacovigilance activities to ensure drug safety compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for life science graduates looking to build a career in pharmacovigilance and medical literature screening.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct weekly and ad-hoc literature searches for safety-related information
✔ Screen scientific literature (PubMed, Embase, etc.) to identify potential Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)
✔ Maintain records of screened abstracts and full-text articles with action logs
✔ Assist in ordering and reviewing full-text articles for safety assessments
✔ Forward identified ICSRs to PV teams for database entry
✔ Support signal detection and Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs)
✔ Perform peer-review quality checks (QC) of literature screening outputs
✔ Track and manage EMA MLM (Medical Literature Monitoring) search results
✔ Ensure timely escalation of urgent safety findings
✔ Contribute to process improvements in literature screening
✔ Assist in regulatory inspections and audits
Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ Educational Background: Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related fields
✅ Freshers welcome! (No prior experience required)
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
✅ Excellent English communication (B2 level or higher)
✅ Interest in pharmacovigilance and patient safety
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
