Key Responsibilities
As an Officer/Executive in the Microbiology Department at Emcure Pharmaceuticals, your responsibilities will include:
- Microbiological Testing: Conduct routine and specialized microbiological tests to ensure the sterility and quality of injectable products.
- Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and document environmental parameters in cleanrooms and production areas to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of all microbiological activities and results in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Validation Activities: Participate in validation processes for equipment, methods, and cleanrooms.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all microbiological processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to address microbiological concerns and improve processes.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized institution.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in microbiological techniques such as sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and bioburden testing.
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring and cleanroom practices.
- Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and other pharmaceutical regulations.
- Experience in handling injectable products and related microbiological activities.
