Key Responsibilities – eCRF / Database Developer
The eCRF / Database Developer will:
- Assess database design requirements for clinical data capture and reporting.
- Design and configure eCRFs based on protocol and Clinical Data Manager specifications.
- Program and validate edit checks as per study requirements.
- Configure and validate dataset mappings for EDC exports.
- Support issue resolution during System Testing, UAT, and deployment.
- Import external data into EDC as per Data Transfer Agreements.
- Manage multiple clinical studies within strict timelines.
- Archive study databases and maintain documentation.
- Participate in SOP development and quality documentation review.
This role demands strong expertise in clinical trial database development, EDC systems, and data validation processes.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or related life sciences field.
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in eCRF development and EDC design.
- Hands-on experience with EDC tools such as:
- Oracle RDC
- Lifesphere
- Ennov
- Inform
- Knowledge of clinical research and clinical data management processes.
- Experience with data mapping, dataset exports, and validation.
- Ability to manage cross-functional study teams and meet timelines.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages and processes.
