Job Description: Associate Scientist
Syngene is hiring an Associate Scientist in Bangalore to work on in-vitro/ex-vivo biochemical assays, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques. The role involves assay development, data analysis, and contributing to therapeutic research in fibrosis, immunology, and oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cell culture, primary cell isolation (blood & tissues), and cell-based assays.
- Conduct ELISA, Western blot, SDS-PAGE, Protein Simple, and high-throughput screening.
- Utilize multimode plate readers, automation tools, and high-content imaging.
- Support target validation, assay troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
- Work on iPSC and neuronal cultures (preferred but not mandatory).
- Maintain accurate data records, analyze results using GraphPad/Prism, and present findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance scientific capabilities.
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc / M.Pharm / M.Tech / M.S in Biological Sciences or related fields.
Technical Skills Required:
✔ Expertise in cell culture & cell-based assays
✔ Proficiency in ELISA, Western blot, SDS-PAGE, and protein analysis
✔ Experience in high-throughput screening & automation
✔ Knowledge of molecular biology techniques
✔ Familiarity with data analysis software (GraphPad, ImageJ, etc.)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with iPSC cultures, neuronal assays, or compound screening.
- Background in fibrosis, immunology, or oncology research.
Behavioral Skills:
