Roles & Responsibilities
Packing Operations
- Operate blister packing machines as per approved SOPs and BMR/BPR
- Perform line clearance before and after batch operations
- Set up, changeover, and monitor equipment for smooth functioning
- Ensure proper loading of materials like foils, cartons, and labels
- Inspect output for defects such as sealing issues, missing tablets, or print errors
Quality & Compliance
- Follow cGMP, GDP, and EHS guidelines strictly
- Maintain accurate batch documentation
- Conduct in-process quality checks and report deviations
- Support QA during audits and inspections
- Ensure data integrity in all documentation
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning as per SOPs
- Handle minor troubleshooting and report breakdowns
- Maintain machine cleanliness and efficiency
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow PPE and safety norms at all times
- Maintain 5S standards in the packing area
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or B.Sc. in relevant field
Experience
- 2 to 5 years in OSD blister packing
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of PAS-X system
- Experience in tablet/capsule manufacturing and packing
- Familiarity with secondary packing (carton, case packing, serialization)
- Understanding of GMP and GLP practices
Behavioral Skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Strong teamwork and communication
- Time management and efficiency in production
