Responsibilities

As a Safety Associate Trainee, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring patient safety by processing and analyzing safety data. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Data Management:
    • Review, assess, and process safety data and information.
    • Collect and track adverse event (AE) or endpoint information.
    • Determine the initial/update status of incoming events and enter data into databases.
    • Code AEs and products, write narratives, and handle literature-related activities.
  2. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Follow applicable regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
    • Ensure 100% compliance with people practices and processes.
  3. Collaboration and Learning:
    • Attend project meetings and provide feedback on challenges or successes.
    • Prioritize and complete assigned training to meet quality and productivity standards.
  4. Problem-Solving:
    • Identify quality issues and escalate them to senior team members.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific, healthcare discipline, or allied life sciences.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and occasional travel if required.
