Responsibilities
As a Safety Associate Trainee, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring patient safety by processing and analyzing safety data. Your responsibilities include:
- Data Management:
- Review, assess, and process safety data and information.
- Collect and track adverse event (AE) or endpoint information.
- Determine the initial/update status of incoming events and enter data into databases.
- Code AEs and products, write narratives, and handle literature-related activities.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Follow applicable regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
- Ensure 100% compliance with people practices and processes.
- Collaboration and Learning:
- Attend project meetings and provide feedback on challenges or successes.
- Prioritize and complete assigned training to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Problem-Solving:
- Identify quality issues and escalate them to senior team members.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific, healthcare discipline, or allied life sciences.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
