Job Responsibilities
Research Associate – Cell Culture
- Maintain and culture mammalian cell lines (CHO, HEK) in adherent and suspension systems.
- Perform transfection, media/feed optimization, and cryopreservation.
- Conduct molecular biology techniques, including PCR, transformation, and plasmid isolation.
- Document experiments and ensure compliance with lab protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects.
Trainee Research Associate – Cell Culture
- Assist in mammalian cell culture under senior guidance.
- Support cell line maintenance and basic lab operations.
- Learn and apply techniques like cryopreservation and media preparation.
- Participate in molecular biology experiments (PCR, plasmid isolation).
- Handle mice for research (preferred but not mandatory).
Qualifications
Research Associate – Cell Culture
- Experience: 1–3 years in mammalian cell culture (CHO, HEK cells).
- Education: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, or related fields.
- Skills: Proficiency in transfection, media optimization, cryopreservation, PCR, transformation, and plasmid isolation.
