Job Responsibilities

Quality Control (QC) Officer

  • Analyze Materials: Perform detailed analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished APIs using advanced techniques.
  • Operate Analytical Instruments: Utilize HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, and other instruments for precise testing.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review Standard Testing Procedures (STPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Method Validation: Conduct method validation and stability studies to ensure product quality.
  • Investigations: Handle Out-of-Specification (OOS) and Out-of-Trend (OOT) investigations to maintain compliance.

Quality Assurance (QA) Officer

  • GMP Compliance: Review and approve Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documents, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Production Records (BPR), and SOPs.
  • Deviation Management: Oversee deviations, change controls, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and risk assessments.
  • In-Process Monitoring: Ensure in-process checks align with cGMP and ICH guidelines.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support vendor audits and ensure adherence to USFDA, EU-GMP, and WHO standards.
  • Audit Preparedness: Leverage experience in regulatory audits (USFDA, MHRA) to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, or M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Experience: 2-6 years in API manufacturing or laboratory operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, and other analytical instruments (for QC roles).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory audits (USFDA, MHRA, EU-GMP, WHO).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities.
