Key Responsibilities
As a Database Management Specialist, you’ll work under broad guidance to solve complex database processing challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and modifying database structures to address processing needs, considering equipment capacity, operating time, and desired outcomes.
- Conducting database analysis and design for production environment databases.
- Ensuring databases meet operational standards for reliability, response time, and query execution.
- Participating in database consultations and design reviews to optimize performance.
- Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Performing tasks like denormalization, data archival schemes, sizing, and creating data definition language (DDL) and database objects.

Qualifications and Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
