Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist (Generative AI) at Netsmart, you will:

- Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms for healthcare challenges
- Analyze large datasets including EHR and claims data
- Build models for patient risk stratification, outcome prediction, treatment optimization, and revenue cycle enhancement
- Develop statistical models for population health management
- Create automated data pipelines for real-time analytics
- Ensure compliance using HL7 FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED CT
- Deploy models in cloud environments and create visual dashboards
- Present insights to clinicians, executives, and product teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Mathematics, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and advanced ML techniques
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
- Strong foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, causal inference
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, ggplot2
- Cloud and big data knowledge (Spark, Hadoop)
- Experience with feature engineering, model validation, supervised & unsupervised learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare data or EHR systems
- Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare workflows
- Knowledge of interoperability standards
- Exposure to NLP for clinical text
- Experience with MLOps and time-series data
