Merck & Co., a global leader in healthcare, is seeking an Associate Manager / Analyst – Data Science to join their Human Health Digital, Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about leveraging data science, machine learning (ML), and Generative AI to drive decision-making in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Develop and deploy end-to-end ML models and Generative AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
- Design and optimize machine learning systems for predictive analytics.
- Work on Natural Language Processing (NLP), prompt engineering, and cloud-based AI solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices in data engineering, model testing, and SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).

- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in Oncology, Vaccines, Rare Diseases, or Pharma Commercial Analytics.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial operations.
