Job Responsibilities

Quality Control (QC) Officer

  • Operate and maintain lab instruments such as HPLC, Dissolution Apparatus, FTIR, UV-Spectrophotometer, Weighting Balance, Friability Tester, and Hardness Tester.
  • Conduct analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability testing.
  • Perform process validation and participate in resolving lab incidents, OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), and analytical deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures.

Quality Assurance (QA) Officer

  • Review specifications, method of analysis protocols, and QC documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle OOS, OOT, lab events, and conduct thorough investigations.
  • Oversee qualification and validation activities in the Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) plant.
  • Perform In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) to ensure product quality during manufacturing.
  • Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Pharm or M.Sc in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences).
  • Experience: 4-8 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality control or quality assurance.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in operating HPLC, FTIR, UV-Spectrophotometer, and other lab instruments (for QC).
    • Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, OOS/OOT investigations, and validation processes.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with IPQA activities and OSD plant operations (for QA).
