Job Description: Research Trainee – Implementation & Support
Colgate-Palmolive is seeking dynamic and motivated candidates for the role of Research Trainee – Implementation & Support at its Global Technology Center (GTC) in Mumbai. This is a 2-year traineeship designed to provide hands-on experience in product development and technology transfer for Personal Care (PC) and Home Care (HC) products.
As a Research Trainee, you will work on developing innovative products that cater to consumer needs and market trends in Europe, Africa, Eurasia, and the Indian subcontinent. You will also support the implementation of these products into manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development:Â Develop new PC/HC products as per project briefs and support technology transfer to manufacturing plants.
- Prototype Testing:Â Create and screen prototypes/formulas, monitor stability, and analyze product performance data.
- Raw Material Management:Â Qualify new vendors, source raw materials, and manage inventory for ongoing projects.
- Equipment Maintenance:Â Perform daily verification and calibration of PC/HC equipment.
- Product Analysis:Â Conduct basic analysis (e.g., Rheology, Foam, Physiochemical parameters) and document results as per internal standards.
- Safety & Quality Compliance:Â Follow all safety protocols and quality standards while executing tasks.
- Training:Â Complete assigned trainings and participate in periodic evaluations to ensure continuous growth.
