Cognizant is hiring experienced Veeva Vault Safety professionals for its Chennai location under a hybrid work model. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacovigilance and drug safety experts with strong hands-on experience in Veeva Vault Safety system administration, safety data management, and global regulatory compliance.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring end-to-end safety operations, regulatory submissions, and continuous improvement of pharmacovigilance processes across global drug development programs.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities – Veeva Vault Safety

• Oversee operation and maintenance of Veeva Vault Safety
• Configure and customize the system as per organizational and regulatory needs
• Implement and manage workflows for:
  • Adverse Event (AE) reporting
  • Risk management
  • Safety data analysis
• Ensure compliance with global PV regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH, GVP)
• Prepare and support submission of:
  • Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs)
  • PBRERs and other regulatory documents
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement system updates
• Manage safety data collection, processing, and analysis
• Generate safety reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and audit readiness
• Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, IT, and Data Management teams
• Participate in cross-functional safety review meetings
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PV systems and processes

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 3–10 years in Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
  • Pharmacy
  • Nursing
  • Life Sciences or related discipline
• Strong hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Safety (preferred)
• In-depth understanding of global safety reporting requirements
• Proficiency in safety data management and analysis
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
