🔍 Job Overview
As a Clinical Research Supervisor at Medtronic, you will provide leadership in the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical studies—ensuring they meet global regulatory and ethical standards. You’ll also drive regulatory submissions, manage research operations, and lead a support team across various Medtronic therapy areas.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical studies ensuring scientific validity and compliance with global regulatory and ethical guidelines
- Develop and execute regulatory strategies to support timely worldwide product approvals
- Prepare, review, and oversee regulatory submissions
- Represent Medtronic in India for clinical research discussions with stakeholders and authorities
- Manage execution of local and global clinical studies across therapy verticals
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, investigators, and vendors
- Supervise staff, oversee workflows, monitor productivity, and provide coaching and performance evaluation
- Support operational planning, scheduling, and team resource management
- Recommend improvements to processes and systems within clinical research operations
🎓 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent (meeting USCIS criteria under 8 CFR 214.2)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research or regulatory functions
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, work scheduling, coaching, and process execution
- Broad working knowledge of regulatory, clinical, or operational practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
