Job Overview
The Clinical Programmer (EDC Programmer) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining clinical trial databases while ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and SOPs. The role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to resolve programming challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain clinical databases using EDC systems
- Perform eCRF design, custom function programming, and edit checks
- Support study build, deployment, and post-production changes
- Work with Veeva CDMS or Medidata Rave platforms
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support for data collection systems
- Collaborate with study teams and clients for issue resolution
- Manage priorities and deliverables across multiple projects
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorโs degree (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field preferred)
- Experience: 1โ5 years in EDC programming
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Veeva CDMS or Medidata Rave
- Custom Function programming
- eCRF development & rules programming
- Strong understanding of:
- Study configuration (events, schedules, forms)
- Object hierarchy in Veeva CDMS
- Good communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables efficiently
