Job Description
The Associate Patient Data Specialist plays a crucial role in clinical trial data management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in patient data assessments. This fully remote position involves:
✅ Independent Data Analysis – Reviewing and interpreting subject data from multiple sources, identifying trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
✅ Cross-functional Collaboration – Leading discussions with study teams to determine the best data manipulation strategies for clinical trials.
✅ Protocol & Compliance Understanding – Mastering trial protocols, EDC systems, contracts, and budgets to ensure seamless data tracking.
✅ Problem-solving & Escalation – Managing data discrepancies, escalating issues, and supporting resolutions with clinical and IT teams.
✅ Continuous Learning – Expanding expertise in programming, clinical trials, and data analytics through mentorship and training.
Key Skills & Qualifications
✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biostatistics, or related fields.
✔ Experience (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
- 6 months–1 year in clinical research, process improvement, or data analytics.
- Familiarity with scientific databases and clinical trial operations.
✔ Technical Skills: - Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and ensure data integrity.
