As a Clinical Data Coder, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality clinical trial data, supporting end-to-end data management activities from study start-up to database lock.

🔑 Key Responsibilities – Clinical Data Coder Role

• Independently serve as Clinical Data Coder / Lead Coder / Data Operations Coordinator (DOC)
• Manage coding activities across the full clinical study lifecycle
• Perform medical coding using MedDRA, WHODrug, and other dictionaries
• Validate and test coding applications, reports, datasets, and edits
• Conduct data review, discrepancy management, and query resolution
• Perform Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reconciliation
• Manage coding timelines with Data Team Leads and Managers
• Support audit readiness and inspection activities
• Perform quality control checks and assist in implementing new technologies
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional clinical data management teams

🎓 Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in clinical data management or medical coding
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy & physiology
  • MedDRA, WHODrug, and clinical coding standards
  • Clinical Data Management processes (start-up to database lock)
• Experience with database technologies and coding tools
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global teams
• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – State Licensure (where applicable)
