Job Responsibilities

As a Clinical Data Associate I, you will play a critical role in managing clinical data and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Management: Review and validate clinical data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with study-specific Clinical Data Management Plans.
  • Database Maintenance: Perform quality checks on clinical databases, manage data entry, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to track project progress and meet deadlines.
  • Compliance: Adhere to ICH/Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and maintain proficiency in data management systems like Oracle Clinical, Rave, or Inform.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating periodic status reports and finalizing clinical databases for sponsor transfer.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Education: A BA/BS degree in biological sciences, natural sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in clinical data management, drug development, or healthcare is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, and clinical database systems like Oracle Clinical or Rave.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
