Job Overview
Fortrea is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst to perform data management activities, including clinical data review, query generation/resolution, and reconciliation. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality clinical data within project timelines while meeting productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Review
- Review clinical trial data in accordance with Data Management Plans (DMPs), Edit Check Specifications, and Data Review Guidelines.
- Identify and resolve erroneous, missing, or incomplete data by raising and tracking queries.
- Generate and manage queries to address discrepancies in clinical trial datasets.
Database & Reporting Support
- Assist in creating and testing Edit Check Specifications and database functionalities.
- Develop dummy data to validate edit checks, database screens, and SAS reports.
- Generate study status reports and ancillary listings for data reconciliation.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support database setup, maintenance, and closure.
- Maintain electronic Trial Master Files (eTMF) and ensure proper documentation.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements
- Education: University/college degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, IT, or related fields (or certification in allied health professions).
- Experience: 1-2 years in clinical research or data management.
- Skills:
- Strong data review and query management abilities.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or clinical data management tools (preferred).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Fortrea’s SOPs and organizational structure.
- Experience in eTMF maintenance and regulatory compliance.
