🧪 Key Responsibilities

As an Associate STEM Content Analyst – Pharma Chemistry, you will:

• Code and index chemical compounds from patents according to Derwent Innovation policies and conventions.
• Perform chemical structure drawing using tools like ISIS Draw or Marvin JS.
• Conduct internet and patent analysis research related to pharmaceutical compounds.
• Apply IUPAC nomenclature and Markush structure understanding for accurate data entry.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging developments in pharma and chemistry.
• Upskill regularly in intellectual property, data analysis, and pharma technologies.

🎓 Required Qualifications

To be eligible, candidates must have:

• A degree in B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or M.Sc (Chemistry).
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in pharma or chemistry content editing.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of chemical nomenclature, patent interpretation, and drug mechanisms.
• Familiarity with content writing, data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Exposure to foreign languages such as German, French, or Spanish will be an added advantage.
