๐ฌ Key Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst, you will:
- Prepare technical patent abstracts following Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) standards.
- Analyze patents to produce accurate, detailed, and editorially enhanced technical summaries.
- Identify and capture novel features, uses, advantages, and innovations from patent documents.
- Use Clarivateโs proprietary tools for data abstraction, editing, and curation.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and timeliness in delivering enriched patent information.
๐ Required Qualifications
To qualify, you should have:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (General, Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Analytical, or Polymer Science).
- A good understanding of patents and intellectual property concepts.
- Strong technical comprehension and English language skills.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in abstraction/editing are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in typing and familiarity with patent drafting.
- Knowledge of patent search tools and scientific documentation.
