🧪 Key Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst at Clarivate, your main duties will include:
- Performing deep analysis of scientific literature, including patents, articles, and meeting abstracts.
- Creating and updating synthesis schemes and related data for drugs in advanced development stages.
- Summarizing synthetic routes and techniques in a structured format.
- Ensuring all content adheres to editorial guidelines and quality standards.
- Collaborating with global teams across India and Spain for cross-functional tasks.
- Contributing to process improvement and knowledge sharing within the Synthesis team.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
Essential:
- M.Sc. or Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry.
- Experience using ChemDraw, ISISDraw, or BioviaDraw.
- Strong understanding of drug development and synthetic chemistry techniques (e.g., cross-coupling, catalysis, biosynthesis).
- Ability to interpret scientific papers and patents.
- Excellent English communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and scientific databases (Web of Science, PubChem, Google Scholar, Patents).
Preferred:
- Knowledge of AI tools for data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- High motivation and adherence to SOPs and policies.

The Synthesis Team consists of 8 professionals based in Chennai (India) and Barcelona (Spain). Together, they analyze journals, patents, and meeting abstracts to enrich CDDI with synthetic schemes, intermediates, and reagents data.
🕒 Working Hours & Location
- Location: Chennai, India
- Work Type: Hybrid (Work from office & digital workplace)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST)
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- Expected Salary Range: ₹5,00,000 – ₹8,00,000 per annum (based on experience)
