Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assign accurate HCC codes based on medical records.
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and documentation requirements.
- Perform quality audits to maintain coding accuracy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation discrepancies.
- Stay updated with coding regulations and industry changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Certification: Must have CPC, CRC, or similar coding certification.
- Experience: 1-2 years in HCC coding (Risk Adjustment).
- Knowledge: Strong grasp of ICD-10-CM, CMS-HCC models, and Medicare guidelines.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in medical coding.
- Communication: Ability to work with clinical teams.
