Key Responsibilities
- Conduct triage and initial validity assessment for spontaneous, health authority, clinical trial, and literature cases.
- Manage quality, workload, compliance, and documentation for assigned PV projects.
- Evaluate cases for expedited reporting to health authorities and clients.
- Prepare and submit standard reporting forms such as CIOMS I / MedWatch forms and XML files.
- Conduct follow-up requests and ensure timely submission of ICSRs to health authorities.
- Act as a line manager, overseeing staff, resource allocation, and project coordination.
- Mentor and train PV staff, ensuring training compliance at all times.
- Participate in recruitment, goal setting, and annual appraisals for PV team members.
- Represent the PV department during client audits and regulatory inspections.
- Write and review QA documents, SOPs, working instructions, templates, and project metafiles.
- Perform case processing, data entry, QC, and documentation.
- Support onboarding and professional development of new team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in pharmacovigilance and case processing.
- Strong understanding of global PV regulations, GVP, and ICH guidelines.
- Experience in ICSR submission, quality management, and SOP documentation.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
