Key Responsibilities – Senior Clinical Data Coordinator
As a Senior CDC at ICON, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality clinical data across the study lifecycle. Your core duties include:
- Creating and maintaining Data Management Plans (DMPs) in compliance with regulatory and industry standards
- Identifying, tracking, and resolving data discrepancies and queries efficiently
- Collaborating with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and Medical teams to implement study-specific data strategies
- Ensuring timely filing, archiving, and documentation of clinical trial data
- Supporting database cleaning, coding, and reconciliation activities
- Mentoring and guiding junior Clinical Data Coordinators
- Contributing to on-time study deliverables and data quality metrics
Eligibility & Qualifications
To be considered for this Senior CDC / CDC II role at ICON, candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Healthcare-related fields
- Proven experience in clinical data management within CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments
- Hands-on knowledge of EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle RDC, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical research standards
- High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced, global project teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
