Roles & Responsibilities

As a Sales Marketing professional for Formulations in the SADC region, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Cadila’s footprint. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies tailored to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana markets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders in the SADC region.
  • Driving formulation product promotions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company guidelines.
  • Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to achieve targets.
  • Coordinating with internal teams for timely supply chain management and product launches.
  • Preparing reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business growth in the assigned territories.
  • Traveling as required to meet clients and attend industry events in the region.

Required Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 to 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, preferably in formulations and international markets.
  • Proven track record in handling African markets, especially SADC countries (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, market dynamics, and distribution channels in the region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within India and to SADC countries.

Prior experience with multinational pharma companies and fluency in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus) will be advantageous.
