About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to join our Engineering Services team at Cadila Pharmaceuticals. As a Senior Officer to Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the compliance, maintenance, and efficient functioning of instrumentation equipment and machinery at our pharmaceutical (API) manufacturing sites located in Dahej and Ankleshwar.
The role requires in-depth knowledge of Instrumentation Engineering, expertise in preventive maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation issues across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Compliance
- Take full responsibility for the compliance and maintenance of all instrumentation equipment and machinery at the site.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment is carried out according to the checklist, feedback, and instructions from the Engineering Services Head and Executives.
- Develop and prepare preventive maintenance checklists for all plant areas under the direction of the engineering head or second line manager.
Instrumentation Testing and Troubleshooting
- Monitor and check L.M.T.E (Instrument Measuring and Testing Equipment) as per the instructions of the Head of Engineering.
- Provide training and guidance to subordinates and electrical engineers for troubleshooting instrumentation issues.
- Analyze critical instrumentation in various areas to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
- Ensure rapid response to breakdowns by addressing them as quickly as possible after receiving the job card and breakdown intimation.
- Evaluate and diagnose the root cause of breakdowns and develop appropriate remedies after consultation with the engineering head.
Cleanliness and Safety
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in your respective areas to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering (BE. Instrumentation).
- Experience: 3 to 12 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical (API) sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of instrumentation equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance in a pharmaceutical (API) setting.
- Management Skills: Ability to train and mentor subordinates, communicate effectively with different teams, and manage maintenance schedules.
