Responsibilities in the Job
You will be instrumental in the development of novel pharmaceutical formulations as a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate in the Formulation Research and Development (FR&D) division. Your primary duties will consist of:
- Comprehensive literature and patent searches should be carried out in order to obtain pertinent data for formulation development.
- Product Evaluation and Procurement: Obtaining Reference and Comparator Items for Comparison and Assessment.
- Application for Test License: Helping with the test license application and creating cost estimates.
- Execution of Bio Batches: Monitoring the bio batches’ execution to make sure they adhere to the necessary requirements.
- Acquisition of Raw Materials: Acquiring the raw materials and packaging materials required for formula development.
- Pre-formulation Studies: Pre-formulation studies are carried out to ascertain the appropriateness of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients.
- Examining and keeping up with master formula specifications and records is known as master formula record review.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational background: Master of Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmaceutics from a prestigious institution or college.
- Education: A good academic record from CBSE or ICSE board schools is preferred.
- Experience: 0–6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience developing formulations.
