Job Responsibilities
Production Department
- Filling:
- Manage shift plans for filling activities to ensure seamless operations.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including vacuum cleaners, tunnel sterilizers, filling, and capping machines.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards during vaccine production.
- Blending:
- Oversee shift plans for formulation activities.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves, blending vessels, CIP, and SIP skids.
- Maintain accurate documentation for quality assurance.
Engineering Department
- Process Equipment:
- Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance on vial washing, filling, capping, autoclaves, labeling machines, jacketed vessels, and lyophilizers.
- Manage shift operations to ensure equipment reliability.
- Instrumentation:
- Handle shift operations for Building Management Systems (BMS), breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and calibration.
- Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Review completion status of maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Laundry:
- Operate and maintain laundry washing machines, pretreatment water systems, and filter cleaning booths.
- Ensure thorough documentation for all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Production:
- B.Sc, ITI, B.Pharmacy, or M.Sc in Life Sciences.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in vaccine or injectable manufacturing.
- Engineering:
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- 2-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical equipment maintenance or instrumentation.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability to shift work, and knowledge of cGMP compliance.
- Candidates with experience in WHO-GMP facilities are preferred.
