Key Responsibilities of an Analytical Scientist at Biocon

  1. Method Development and Validation
    • Develop analytical methods using LC-HRMS for large molecules.
    • Perform data processing, interpretation, and report preparation.
    • Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines for method validation.
  2. Instrumentation and Data Interpretation
    • Hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques such as:
      • NMR, GPC, LC-MS, FT-IR, PXRD, TEM, SEM, CD, SEC-MALS, Fluorescence plate readers
    • Conduct in-vitro release tests and reverse engineering studies.
  3. Documentation and Reporting
    • Draft and review Sameness-Characterization reports for drug substances and products.
    • Prepare detailed analytical reports for regulatory submissions.
  4. Technology Transfer
    • Transfer analytical methods to manufacturing sites or Contract Testing Laboratories (CTL).
    • Ensure seamless implementation of methods for regular release testing.
  5. Project Management
    • Plan and execute timely sample analysis.
    • Track and compile comparative results for R&D projects.

Skills and Qualifications Required
