Key Responsibilities

• Process adverse event (AE) reports from multiple sources ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
• Determine seriousness, expectedness, and causality for reported adverse events.
• Select the correct suspect drug in the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS).
• Write narratives summarizing medical information for individual case safety reports (ICSRs).
• Code medical terms using standard medical dictionaries such as MedDRA.
• Ensure data accuracy and perform quality checks on case entries.
• Conduct case investigations, queries, and follow-ups with reporters and affiliates.
• Support aggregate report preparation and case clean-up when required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or Life Sciences (or equivalent).
• Experience:
  • 2–3 years of hospital, clinical, or patient care experience preferred.
  • Prior exposure to pharmaceutical safety or regulatory roles desirable.
• Skills Required:
  • Solid medical and clinical knowledge.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently under deadlines.
  • Proficiency with pharmacovigilance systems and global safety regulations.
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
