Key Responsibilities:
- Process adverse event reports from all sources, performing full data entry and review.
- Determine seriousness, expectedness, causality, and event resolution.
- Ensure correct suspect drug selection within the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS).
- Write comprehensive medical narratives summarizing adverse events.
- Code medical terms using standardized dictionaries like MedDRA.
- Request case investigations, follow up with reporters, and collaborate with local affiliates.
- Perform quality checks and case clean-ups as needed for aggregate reporting.
- Maintain adherence to worldwide and regional safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Science, or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of hospital, patient care, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Pharmacovigilance Safety Systems.
- Team-oriented, detail-focused, and adaptable to multitasking.
