Job Summary
Baxter is hiring a Safety Data Analyst I to join the Global Patient Safety (GPS) Data Management team in Bengaluru. This role involves generating accurate reports from Pharmacovigilance databases, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support drug safety operations.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports from Pharmacovigilance databases.
✔ Develop and standardize SQL queries for consistent reporting.
✔ Collaborate with requestors to ensure accurate data interpretation.
✔ Ensure timely completion and distribution of reports.
✔ Serve as an escalation contact for data integrity issues.
✔ Work with IT and Safety Systems Analysts to improve reporting tools.
✔ Develop new report formats using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
✔ Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
✔ Collaborate with global teams (Pharmacovigilance, Clinical, Regulatory, IT, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
✅ Experience in database searches and report generation.
✅ 1+ years in Safety Data Management (preferred).
✅ Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance terms (advantage).
✅ Proficiency in MS Excel & SQL (mandatory).
✅ Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Business Objects) is a plus.
✅ Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance databases (ARISg experience preferred).
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
✅ Ability to work under tight deadlines.
