Bausch + Lomb, a globally trusted eye health company with over 170 years of legacy, is hiring a Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist (Vendor QC Associate – Pharmacovigilance & Materiovigilance) in India. This opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmacovigilance professionals with strong expertise in ICSR quality review, vendor oversight, global safety regulations, and audit readiness.
As part of the Global Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management (GPRM) function, the selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, compliant case processing for adverse events (AE/SAE) and medical device complaints, working closely with global stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control (QC) review of ICSRs and device event cases processed by external vendors
- Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance and materiovigilance regulations
- Review and maintain vendor SOPs, working instructions, and data exchange agreements
- Analyze weekly and monthly case quality metrics and identify training or process improvement needs
- Review and approve AE/SAE and device event reports for pre- and post-marketed products
- Ensure accurate case narratives, MedDRA coding, causality, and assessments
- Coordinate with medical reviewers, regulatory affairs, and vendors to resolve queries
- Support pharmacovigilance audits, inspections, and CAPA activities
- Maintain proper documentation, correspondence, and PV archiving
- Assist in handling non-conformances, deviations, and CAPA documentation
- Train and guide vendor staff on quality and compliance expectations
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / PharmD / Nursing / Life Sciences
- Degree from a recognized and accredited institution
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or Materiovigilance
- Strong exposure to ICSR review, device vigilance, or vendor QC preferred
Key Skills
- In-depth knowledge of global PV regulations and guidelines
- Hands-on experience with safety databases (LSMV, CATSweb preferred)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and scientific concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong workflow prioritization skills

Salary & Compensation
- Estimated Salary Range: ₹8,00,000 – ₹14,00,000 per annum
