The Local Case Intake Advisor โ GBS Patient Safety role is focused on handling ICSRs (Individual Case Safety Reports), regulatory compliance, and ensuring patient safety across marketed products.
This role is ideal for candidates with a Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medical background who want hands-on exposure to adverse event reporting, regulatory interaction, and PV systems in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities (Pharmacovigilance & ICSR Handling)
- Process and manage ICSRs (Individual Case Safety Reports) from clinical and post-marketing sources
- Perform adverse event (AE) reporting in compliance with global PV guidelines
- Act as liaison between local marketing companies and global patient safety teams
- Respond to Health Authority queries related to safety data
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audit readiness
- Manage PV documentation, SOPs, and training compliance
- Handle risk management activities and safety issue resolution
- Contribute to digital, social media, and organized data collection programs (ODCP)
- Collaborate cross-functionally for drug safety and regulatory compliance
Eligibility Criteria (Qualifications)
Required:
- Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medicine
- Strong knowledge of:
- Pharmacovigilance (PV)
- Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP)
- Health Authority regulations
- Skills:
- Analytical thinking & problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication (written & verbal)
- Vendor & stakeholder management
Preferred:
- Experience in audit & inspections
- Knowledge of therapeutic areas
- Project management exposure
- Conflict resolution & influencing skills
