🔑 Key Responsibilities
As a Local Case Intake Advisor, you will:
- Intake, process, and report Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in line with AstraZeneca standards and PV regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate patient safety case handling.
- Track and monitor local case intake metrics, generating reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory expectations.
- Stay updated on evolving global and local pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Collaborate with local and global safety teams to maintain smooth case processing.
For candidates with leadership potential, there is also scope to lead local teams handling case intake for specific markets, such as Japan, requiring additional regulatory expertise and bilingual communication.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of Pharmacovigilance experience, preferably in case intake and ICSR processing.
- Strong knowledge of PV regulations and safety reporting.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English (Japanese proficiency is a plus for leadership track).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
