Key Responsibilities
As a Scientist, Clinical Trial Safety, you will:
Support Senior Scientists and Analysts
- Assist with study start-up activities, document preparation, and tool configuration.
- Review patient-level safety/clinical data for accuracy, completeness, and coding consistency.
- Generate queries for high-quality medical and safety assessments.
- Prepare visualizations, study reports, and presentations.
Operational & Documentation Support
- Facilitate and schedule study meetings (e.g., SSPR).
- Perform quality checks and maintain TRISARC documents in eTMF.
- Manage SharePoint platforms and ensure updated trackers.
- Oversee TRISARC mailbox operations and distribution lists.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- BSc/MSc/PhD in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Nursing, Dentistry).
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and SAE reporting requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environments.
- Strong computer proficiency and teamwork skills.
Desirable Experience
- Clinical trial or pharmacovigilance experience.
- Hands-on experience reviewing SAEs and safety events.
- Understanding of clinical data flow and drug development.
- Basic programming experience (added advantage).
