This hybrid, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the Derwent World Patent Index (DWPI), helping researchers identify polymer compounds, compositions, and structures covered in patents. Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst – Polymer, you will:

- Extract novel scientific information from polymer patents and enrich it using DWPI codes according to editorial standards.
- Index and code polymer-related information, including monomers, catalysts, additives, chemical processes, physical operations, and applications.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to ensure accurate and value-added content.
- Collaborate with the polymer team to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in Polymer Science and Chemistry.
- Optionally, use chemical drawing tools like ISIS Draw for visualization of polymer structures.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Organic, Physical, Analytical, or Inorganic Chemistry (M.Sc.), OR M.Tech/B.Tech in Polymer Technology.
- Fresher or 1–2 years of content or research experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with chemical drawing software (e.g., ISIS Draw).
- Interest in patent analysis, polymer research, and scientific content curation.
