Key Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering value-added scientific information for Clarivate’s proprietary DWPI™ database. Your responsibilities will include:
- Indexing and Coding Chemical Compounds: Analyze and code chemical compounds from patent documents with precision.
- Extracting Key Data: Identify pharmaceutical, therapeutic, and agrochemical activities, chemical reactions, drug information, and Markush structures from patents.
- Chemical Structure Drawing: Use tools like ISIS Draw to draw and interpret complex chemical structures.
- Applying IUPAC Nomenclature: Ensure accurate application of chemical nomenclature and assess catalysts, additives, and their functions.
- Meeting Targets: Achieve volume-based deliverables with high efficiency and quality.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of trends and developments in pharmaceutical and chemistry fields.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within and across teams, adapting to process changes and prioritizing tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills
Clarivate seeks candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: M.Sc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or B.Pharm/M.Pharm graduates.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with chemical drawing tools like ISIS Draw or similar software is preferred.
