Responsibilities of the Associate STEM Content Analyst

As an Associate STEM Content Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting chemical data to support pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing Chemical Processes: Interpret data from various sources to draw chemical structures and identify possibilities.
  • Coding Chemical Structures: Assign accurate codes to chemical structures for efficient data management.
  • Preparing Reports: Communicate insights effectively through detailed, written reports tailored to the target audience.
  • Meeting Targets: Achieve production volume and quality goals while maintaining consistent standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Educational Background: M.Sc in Chemistry, General Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience with chemical drawing packages (e.g., ISIS Draw).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in chemical structure handling tools and IUPAC nomenclature (preferred).
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem identification and solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Teamwork and Initiative: A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Data Analysis: Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.
