This role offers an opportunity to work on medical summarization projects, converting patient records into structured, professional clinical reports that assist healthcare providers and legal teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate – Medical Record Review, you will:
- Review and summarize medical records from PDFs and text formats into professional reports.
- Create detailed clinical summaries including History of Present Illness (HPI), Physical Exam, Diagnosis, Assessment & Plan.
- Gain proficiency in navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and entering data into MS Word documents per client requirements.
- Ensure documentation quality, accuracy, and compliance with client-specific guidelines.
- Participate in video-based training and feedback sessions with team leads and managers.
- Work independently in a secure, remote environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Skills and Experience Required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in medical summarization, transcription, or scribe roles within the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation, and EHR systems.
- Excellent English writing, grammar, and spelling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Prior experience in medical billing is an added advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy (BPT), Ayurveda (BAMS), Homeopathy (BHMS), Dentistry (BDS), or related fields.
