Job Description: Assistant Manager – Regulatory Affairs
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance:ย Ensure adherence toย Medical Device Rule 2017, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, and other relevant regulations in India.
- Regulatory Submissions:ย Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings forย new registrations, re-registrations, manufacturer transfers, and post-approval changes.
- Lifecycle Management:ย Maintain compliance for product registrations, includingย change notifications, query responses, and regulatory updates.
- Regulatory Strategy:ย Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop regulatory strategies and mitigate business risks.
- Documentation & Reporting:ย Draft cover letters, maintain regulatory databases (MDRIM tool), and ensure timely submissions.
- Quality Compliance:ย Addressย quality issues, corrective actions (ETS system), and regulatory assessmentsย within deadlines.
- Stakeholder Coordination:ย Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant product lifecycle management.
- Training & SOPs:ย Complete mandatory training and followย SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledgeย ofย Medical Device Rule 2017, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, and ISO 13485 (QMS).
- Familiarity withย US FDA and EU MDR regulationsย for medical devices.
- Proficiency inย regulatory databases and software tools.
- Excellentย communication, documentation, and project managementย skills.
- Ability toย interpret regulatory guidelinesย and ensure compliance.
